I currently have appointments with both the chiropractor and massage therapist once a month but soon I will be coming in bi-weekly.

1.  What brought you to In Motion?

I moved to Sarnia around 5 years ago and needed to new chiropractor and lucked out with being able to get massage in the same place. I had an accident when I was younger, resulting in bad back pain frequently.

2.  What are your personal health goals?

To maintain a healthy lifestyle and to avoid being in pain all the time.

3.  How many days a week do you visit In Motion and how long each session?

I usually get a massage 1-2 times a month and depending on my needs, sometimes 1 or more times a week for chiropractor. Ranging from 15minutes to 1-hour appointments.

4.  How many years have you been a client of In Motion?

5 years (since I moved to the area)

5.  What would be the one aspect of In Motion that really draws you regularly?

Aside from the best chiropractor and massage service I have ever received, everyone is so pleasant there and it is a family feeling atmosphere.

6.  Any comments/feedback for new clients to In Motion?

Not only can you receive many services there but it is the best service. From your experience with the staff, to the relief you feel from your service. You feel like everyone loves their job there and puts all effort into reaching whatever goal you're seeking or pain relief you need.

7.  Any comments/feedback for new clients to In Motion?

I have since moved to Petrolia for 2 years and I refuse to go to any place that is convenient because I know I would never get the service I do, as I do at In Motion.

July 2022

Client of the Month: Brent Campbell

1. What brought you to In Motion?

I came to In Motion to help resolve a nagging case of plantar fasciitis after a fellow runner suggested In Motion because you could continue to train while being treated. Additionally, I became a long term client as a form long term maintenance of my spina bifida and other sports based surgeries.

2.  What are your personal health goals?

My personal health goals are to always be active, maintain strength, flexibility, and to show my own kids that healthy living and physical exercise is a long term journey that has many benefits.

3.  How many days a week do you visit In Motion and how long each session?

I usually visit In Motion once a month for massage therapy and about every three weeks for chiropractic treatment.

4.  How many years have you been a client of In Motion?

I think it has been almost three years since I first came to in motion where I was once or twice a week to help with the initial injury. Once I had fully recovered we began a maintenance program for various other injuries and day to day aches and pains.

5.  What would be the one aspect of In Motion that really draws you regularly?

I love the staff and their commitment to my well-being  I love that can see the whole team talking to each other about my care and that all the staff work together to help their clients achieve their health goals.

6.  Any comments/feedback for new clients to In Motion?

In Motion has been a saviour for me and my mental health after trying many other treatment and modalities to help. The team used shockwave, chiropractic, and massage therapy to help me recover what had become a debilitating injury that prevented me from enjoying my day. After we devised a treatment plan I was back running in three weeks and within six months I was back to triathlon training at full effort. Since then they have helped me and my family regain the joy of running and being active together as a family. Being able to run, skate, bike, and even just walk has helped me and my family weather the last two years of COVID by providing us with a mental health outlet during COVID.

7.  Any comments/feedback for new clients to In Motion?

The staff at In Motion makes their clients feel welcome and that they are their only client. I love my visits to In Motion, I feel like it’s the physical and mental pit stop my body and life needed to keep me healthy and physically active after all the years of abuse I have put it through. Thai allows me to stay active and a role model to my kids, that exercise is lifelong no matter what your physical goals are.

January 2022

Client of the Month: Debra May

1. What brought you to In Motion?

I had been going to different health spots for insurance purposes due to injury to pinched nerves in my discs at the base of my neck.  Actually I lived in Oil Springs and was seeing a great Chiropractor in Petrolia and was in the process of moving to Sarnia and she gave me In Motion’s name as a recommendation.I can say I’m happy she did.

2. What are your personal health goals?

Considering when I first came to In Motion approximately 4 years ago I was in a fair amount of pain, and couldn’t do half of the things I could normally do on a daily basis.  I was a very active person before my injury and now I just look forward to be able to keep up with doing things like gardening, walking, and normal activity of daily life.  Through one of my physiotherapist I learned I had been walking improperly also which was causing problems with my knee.

3. How many days a week do you visit In Motion and how long each session?

Thanks to my half hour weekly physio and bi-weekly massages it sure helps me to do these things in moderation.  When I first started going to In Motion I didn’t go that often but now I find myself going regularly, finding it helpful, laser on my knee for helping me to walk, physio and massage for my neck and shoulders for pinched nerves and torn muscles on my roto cuff.

4. How many years have you been a client of In Motion?

I have been a patient for over 4 years now.

5. What would be the one aspect of In Motion that really draws you regularly?

The staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable and great chats during your sessions.  You gain friends. I was surprised when I was asked to be client of the month but honoured as well and will continue to give my health care to In Motion.

6. Any comments/feedback for new clients to In Motion?

I now feel much better than I did 4 years ago and love that at my age I can continue to look forward to moving my arms, neck, back and legs when I wake in the mornings, if In Motion can do that for me I can recommend you give them a chance to help you.

7. Other comments/anything to add?

Thanks to staff and all that have had anything to do in helping me.

Office Manager

I was born in Michigan, raised in Corunna, ON.  I have more than 20 years of client relation experience and more than 10 years of managerial experience working for NCO.  In 2012 when NCO closed I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go back to school.  I enrolled in the Medical Office Administration Program at Lambton College and graduated in 2014 at the top of my class.  While attending Lambton College I was the Campus Program Coordinator for the Ministry of Health campaign - Leave the Pack Behind, which focuses on Smoking Cessation for students.  I also gained experience working in a medical office environment as a work study and co-op student in the Lambton College Wellness Centre.I am married to my husband, Steve and we have 2 children – Alexis and Jaxon.  Alexis is currently attending the University of Ottawa and hopes to become a dentist.  Jaxon is an avid lacrosse and football player. I also have 2 furbabies – Chihuahuas, Martini and Skye.We love travelling, playing with our dogs, and watching Jaxon play lacrosse and football.
